Add Apex to your device

Choose your device below. An internet connection is needed to visit the website.

Windows desktop

Download desktop shortcut

Move the downloaded “Apex Code Works.url” file from Downloads to your desktop. Double-click it to open our home page in your browser.

For the Apex artwork on your desktop, download the Apex icon and keep it on your computer. Right-click the shortcut, choose Properties, then Change Icon, and browse to the saved icon file. Windows may initially show your browser’s default icon.

Mac desktop

Download Mac shortcut

Move the downloaded “Apex Code Works.webloc” file to your desktop. Double-click it to return to our home page. You can also drag the address from your browser to your desktop to create a shortcut.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Apex home page in Safari.
  2. Tap Share (you may need to open the More menu first).
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.

The Apex icon will open our home page. A downloaded desktop shortcut does not install an iPhone home screen icon.

Android

  1. Open the Apex home page in Chrome.
  2. Open the three-dot menu and choose Add to home screen. Some versions show Install or Create shortcut.
  3. Confirm the name “Apex Code Works” and tap Add or Install.

Your device will ask you to confirm adding the icon.
